Senior Portraits for Yearbook March 6, 2026 Free. Roughly 2x2 inches. We crop to fit if necessary. Unlike other high schools, we can take any professional OR nonprofessional casual snapshot pose rather than only a tight headshot. Email one .jpg image file to yearbook@gibsonek.org. We’ll use the fall gym portrait for seniors who do not submit an official senior photo.
Senior Quotes March 6, 2026 Seniors have the option to submit a very short parting statement, quote, etc. within 80 characters, including spaces -- obviously with school-appropriate content. Please email to yearbook@gibsonek.org. No obligation, though: Seniors who do not submit any words will see just their name under their photo.

Senior Ads

March 6, 2026 Families have the option to purchase a quarter- or half-page ad to celebrate their senior with supportive messages, baby photos, etc. These are paid and designed by families completely online through our yearbook provider, Walsworth. Proceeds from these ads help fund our yearbook, but do not feel obligated to create one. Note that Gibson Ek offers half-page ads for $90 or quarter-page ads for $50. No other sizes. You can design online or upload your own. Access the portal here: yearbookforever.com & type in “Gibson Ek High School”

Announcements

general announcement
In accordance with Washington state law, seniors will soon begin the FLASH sexual health curriculum. FLASH is a medically accurate, age-appropriate comprehensive sexual health education curriculum. The goals of the curriculum are to prevent teen pregnancy, STDs and sexual violence, and to increase family communication about sexual health related topics such as dating, sex and abstinence. If you would prefer your child not receive some or all of this instruction, please email principal Tonja Reischl (reischlt@issaquah.wednet.edu).
